You may need to use a high-pressure hose or water blaster if you have stubborn dirt and grimness.

How to apply the deck waterproofing sealants
Our waterproofing products are easy to use for any DIY’er.
First, apply the waterproof sealant using a brush or roller to achieve an even 1mm thickness across the surface. Apply two coats if applying to the porous surface if you require a greater thickness.
Once applied, leave to cure for 4-6 hours before the surface can be walked on. After 72 hours, you can apply deck coating.
Apply 2 coats of deck coating at around 1L/3sqm per coat, waiting for a minimum of 12 hours between coats.
