Our Story
Our business first evolved when we saw the need for a safe, easy to use waterproofing product back in 2012, when we introduced Liquid Rubber Waterproofing Solutions. We wanted a product range that would be easy to use and suit the large kiwi DIY market, but also one that could effectively waterproof large areas and provide cost effective solutions for building owners.
Now well-established in the market and stocked at most Mitre 10 stores nationwide, Liquid Rubber is clearly a winner, helping Kiwis all over New Zealand in their own backyard. As the residential side of simple waterproofing blossomed, so too did the need for the flexible adhesive on a much larger, industrial scale. The business then escalated into the commercial market, working on projects as large as high rise buildings in the big cities.
Over 7 years of successful business providing Liquid Rubber solutions in commercial and residential applications, we found ourselves finishing off the sealing of pot holes, as well as repairing and protecting concreted foundations. This is when we discovered the need for simple solutions in the concreting industry combined with waterproofing.
Having asphalt and concrete repairs alongside the Liquid Rubber range, meant our customers could obtain everything they needed in one place for concrete foundations, insulating concrete, pipelines, parking structures – almost everything concrete!
It was a no-brainer to Add MG-Krete, PAR Permanent Asphalt Repair and Vapour Lock to the range.
